First Day of Classes

Today was our first official day of classes. Although we did not start with the 4 specific classes due to the pre-test, students did get to enjoy their afternoon activities of theatre and sports.

Taking the pre-test: Not the most fun activity, but necessary.

Some free time before lunch after finishing the pre-test:

Bienvenida en Viña (the welcome)

We arrived to the location where students will be taking their classes and doing their afternoon activities. The families were waiting and were very excited to meet their kids. Each student was introduced to their family followed by performances and introductions. It was a great way to dive right in and get a glimpse at Chilean culture. Last week

During our last week, we had the going away party and show. Students read poems, danced, sang, acted and enjoyed time with family and friends. What a great way to finish these amazing 6 weeks.

5th week

It was a good week. The week started with classes and our usual afternoon activities. On Thursday we went to Valparaiso to paint a mural and we finished the week with a trip to Isla Negra and Pomaire.
